Default Horn trigger install and review.

So a while ago I recieved a Horn Trigger to install and give a try. I was very excited when it arrived and read the directions a half dozen times to make sure it was as easy as it looks. If you cab install a switch mounted cup holder, you can install this Horn Trigger.

Now, from the jump, the Horn Trigger looks very well designed and made. I opted for the black one because I'm slightly worried about the chrome catching the sun and temporarily blinding me. I did use the high/low horn spacer because i didn't like how the pad made contact with the actual horn button. Once the bolts were tight, I gave it a few pushes with my thumb and it moves effortlessly. I did turn on my bike and pressed the Horn Trigger to make sure the horn did sound and everything else functioned correctly. Now, I have extended turn signal switches installed on my Road King and they are a little close to thw Horn Trigger. I haven't gone for a ride yet so I don't know if there will be any interference. I will follow up on that in the next few days.

Will all that said, I actually can't wait to blow my horn at someone.

Had one on mine. It's too bulky and interferes with the extended signal buttons like you have.
I didn't like it at all, took it off and I don't miss it.

What Stinger1 said, just too large. They have a money back guarantee, but when postage is as much as refund, that makes the guarantee useless !
Well, that's a lesson that costs.

I was taught early on to train myself as to where the horn button is so you will easily and automatically go right to it when needed. I actually practiced a couple of times yesterday while riding. That thing would not be for me. Interesting idea but just a way to separate us from our money in my opinion.

Why not just hit the horn button. I don't see the point.

I commute daily in Houston traffic. If I am the slightest bit nervous of the cars around me, the thumb instinctively hovers over the button. I can find it without even thinking about it.

I hope it does what you want. An angry left turn signal doesn't have the same effect as an air horn.
