Default Discount from Harley Dealer

I have $ 9K worth of parts to buy for my 2019 SGS from dealer. Insurance company paid me directly. Mostly all painted parts from the factory. Original pricing all MSRP. What is a reasonable discount to ask for?

You'll get almost 20% online plus no tax and free shipping. Can't hurt to ask your local dealer.

If I had that much to buy from a dealer I would save 20% buying from one of the online dealers.

Local dealer offers 10% off any parts or store items if you bought a bike from them.

With an order like that I'd call around and talk to the parts managers and see who's hungry.

Hog members get 10% from the store they join. Worth it to join for that much purchase, if you want to stay local.

I get 15% off but have to pay tax. So it comes out to about 6.5% off. 20% and free shipping is best but hard to find anymore.

I have spent probably close to 5-6 grand on H-D parts for my '19 SGS from http://www.surdyke.com/

I think their prices are about 20% less then H-D retail pricing and free shipping for orders over $169.

Also, you can find parts that you can't find on the H-D Online store. If you have a part number, they will find it.

They can be a little slow on items that they have to order but if it is a stock item it arrives fairly quickly.

This presumes you will do all the install yourself. If a dealer is involved, they will want to do the odering and you will get socked full retail plus labor.
