Baker Attitude Adjuster
Wow,... thanks for that pic...!!
I'll have to go back and check my research.... that certainly looks like it has the best features of the the "B" tensioner....
The link I saved, that discussed the changes in the tensioners, is no longer valid... I should have printed it out, but I just saved the link... lesson learned...
My pic was mislabeled..... I had it labelled as an "A" vs "B".... it is obviously the original '06, that they dumped quickly due to many complaints/failures, compared to the "B" or maybe even an "A"... not sure at this point...
Your pic is showing the "A" model, I had believed was changed in '07.... I can't now confirm when the "A" improvement was made. All the parts fiche now show the updated "B" part, not what was originally used. I don't happen to have an original '07-'10 parts manual. My oldest original parts manual with that tensioner is my 2012, which already shows the "B" as OEM...
Here are some "A" to "B" model comparison photos....
"B" is on bottom

"B" is on the left

From what I can see comparing the "A" to the "B", the width of the mounting base had changed. The "B" is a little larger than the "A", so the spacers are no longer needed for install. Not sure now, without my reference link, if that is the only change between the "A" and "B".
The only thing I'm sure of at this point, is that the "B" improvement has had a failure rate much less than the prior versions......
I appreciate the pic that set me straight.... I try to give good info, but sometimes my memory, and/or my note taking, isn't infallible...!

I run Southern Oregon Hot Bikes hydraulic tensioners in each of my bikes. Working well so far.

Just out of curiosity, how long and how many miles = "Working well so far"? I watched this guys video and wish he had showed how it was made and how it worked better. I like the concept though........

The unit looks brand new, the shoe looked beautiful and had practically no markings at all. I reviewed the Baker video on adjusting the chain tension. I checked several spots and it was all in spec. The unit required no adjustments.
