Took the rider safety course 10/18, bought my 1st bike 12/18 ( 2010 883), traded it 6/19 for a 19 Softail Deluxe in Scorched Orange. Today, traded that Deluxe for a 19 RG. I LOVE IT!!
The dealer says the engine and tranny are the exact same (107) but it sure doesnt feel like it. That RG seems to have more zip, is more responsive and handles equally or a tad better than the deluxe.
Planned mods, LED turn signals, stretch bags and something with the whack audio. But then again... at least I have audio!!! Dealer threw in some neighbor haters so pipes are ok for now. Just hoping to get 30-45 days of riding in before the weather turns.
I was into Baggers before they were cool; before "Bagger Nation."
Nice looking bike; my main mileage-eater is a Road Glide as well, just did an east coast to/from Sturgis trip; the RG was a blast in the Black Hills considering its size and weight.
Nice bagger. I highly recommend Custom Dynamics LED lights/blinkers since you mentioned your looking at that upgrade. Life time warranty, excellent customer service, easy plug n play installation, fast shipping.
