Lost my key fob, battery was dead in the back-up. Replaced battery and it lost the code. And so did I. I did not write it down nor do I remember it. Called MOCO, gave me there numbers to enter but did not work. Tried many different numbers to no avail. Harley stated they would have to come get the bike and put it in shop to fix. Yes that's right. I know what I should have done but did not! Any help????
Are you sure the new FOB battery is good? I would try another before paying for dealer service. FOB's don't loose their programming, the bike is programmed to the FOB. Another thing to try is pulling the main fuse for a couple hours to reset the system.

As stated, your second FOB did not lose the code.
Make sure you have a good battery installed, and make sure it is installed correctly.
The #1 reason for a FOB not working, is the battery being installed upside down.
while it is true as stated above about the fob battery and not loosing the code.
This too can also be true.. the second fob was never programmed in the security system.
Have seen it more than once.
If you can get either fob working, you can reset the code without knowing it ahead of time. The procedure is in the owner's manual and it's really easy to do.
I second the battery suggestions above. The fob won't lose its code; it's hard coded.
Can't turn the battery over without the fob working. Only lights come one. I will try pulling the main fuse as mentioned above. It gets picked up Tuesday to shop if I can't fix it.

No, the FOB battery. Remove it from the FOB, flip it over and reinstall it. You may have installed it upside down.
To all who helped, THANKS11 You guys who stated to disconnect the main fuse for a couple of hours for reset WORKED with the spare fob. You saved me from having MOCO picking up my bike Tuesday and taking to the shop for $$$$$. Just some FYI, I had them on the phone Saturday afternoon and the owners never suggested I take out the main fuse ! Again this site and you guys were great. I did not even get this info from that other Road Glide Forum... Peace Out guys
