Glad someone else hates this. Rented a 2019 RK when my 2008 RG broke down and i really liked the M8, but HATED how far out the clutch engages.
I did kind of get used to it after the 1,500 mile trip, but I still find it annoying as I look for a new bike. Glad to see there are some options.

For those with adjustable levers...adjusting them in would affect the whole range, wouldnt it? what I mean is...are you still able to stop in gear with the lever pulled in? Start the bike in gear with lever pulled in? IT seems like it wouldnt be fully disengaged just by a lever adjustment. Thanks.

Just FYI..... other than the AIM combo slave cylinder & master cylinder kit for '14-'16 hydraulic clutches...

There is another player in the field, the Muller AG 120-50 Hydro Clutch Slave Cylinder for '14-'16 Harley Touring bikes, made in Germany. It is just a slave cylinder, cheaper than the slave/master set up from AIM, and claims 35% less pull than OEM...

Looks promising, but I haven't seen any reviews on it yet...

The adjustable levers give me the same control as the OEM. With the clutch pulled in and on level ground I don't need to hold the brake in.
With the OEM levers my friction zone was way out away from the grip, like the last inch or so coming to the grip did nothing as the clutch was already pulled in.

Just went down to the garage and fired up the bikes to compare and Kim's bike the clutch starts to engage quite a ways from the grip. Our bikes are in chocks so you can hear the engine start to work harder as well as feel the front of the bike start to pull in a little when the clutch engages. I adjusted my lever as close to the grip as I could and I still had a small amount of play before the clutch started to engage. I set my clutch lever closer to mid range and it feels good to me.

Hope this helps
Bill

Solved mine with the Muller Hydro clutch. Went with that one over AIM due to all the problems AIM has been having with their unit. Makes engagement right off the grip and pull much easier. Mine uses the -160 unit. Yours would use the -150 unit. Have had mine in for 6000 trouble free miles.

This is the first review of the Muller Hydro Clutch I've read, and having read your responses in threads over the years, I consider you a knowledgeable reviewer..

Thanks...!

That unit fits the 2019's?
I'm looking for a unit for my 2019 Ultra.

Yes, I have a 2019 with a 120-60 Muller unit for 2017-2020 fitment. The 120-50 is for 2014-2016.

Dennis Kirk also has them as well as 2wheel.com. I purchased from 2wheel. When I bought mine, they had the fitment reversed. Not sure if they straightened it out yet or not. Also purchased a speed bleeder to make bleeding a snap.
