you have to replace the entire guage....... big bucks... there is a light kit for all of them out there that I saw on a website somewhere, it just changes the light color at night to blue...
I need to replace mine because the lenses are crazed. I am thinking about the silver faced gauges, but if I replace the spedo and tach, that gets to be big bucks. Its not bad for the 4 small gauges...
I just replaced my broken tach glass but the thing is they are sealed units so you will have to take the ring out with caution and then replace the glass, i bougth the glass on a home glass retailer and he cut the glass in custom size actualy for that unit was 88.1 mm by 2mm thick then you will have to place some silicone on the o ring and replace.
looks great like factory new and cost 2 bucks for the glass, and they still waterproof.
So you can try, thats what i do, worked for me, anyway the unit is broken so try.
