Not trying to be snarky here, but snowmobile gloves are going to be the warmest. My Choko branded black leather gloves, with an insert on the back of the hand for chemical hand warmers are good in sub freezing weather. Good to below zero with the heated sled grips on. The chem hand warmers should always go on the backside of your hand. That is were your veins are that feed your paws. If you put them against your palms, that is the fatty side. That also sucks against the handlebar grips. That is why all the good snowmobile gloves have the pouch there.
My Choko's have a product # on them of: 696-2510-00
IMO, gloves are like seats. The thinner & sexier they are, the more uncomfortable they are.
PS- We rode Highway one from San Fran to Eureka this July. Does it ever warm up above 65 in northern CA?
I personally like gear from British Motorcycle Gear.BMG,their products are well made and they work. It's rained fourteen days straight on our trip to Alaska, cold in the forties,no electric gear.. These are the gloves that kept our hands warm and dry :

"So yesterday I had that 240 mile round trip to make in really cold conditions: so cold, in fact, that one the return journey, the gritters were out. To make the journey tolerable, I'd added a pair of proper winter gloves to my wardrobe: British Motorcycle Gear Thermosport winter gloves - these are leather with Kevlar knuckle protectors, extra leather and abrasion resistance on the palms, Thinsulate (to keep the heat in) and Porelle lining (breathable but waterproof) in case of rain. This was the first time I'd worn them, so they still need to soften up, but they worked really well". British Bike Blog.
Snowmobile gloves for me as i snowmobile also. Go to a website that sells them and get the coldest rated you can...augment with hand warmers or heated grips....i'll ride down to about 45 degrees and don't need warmers.
I haven't a clue but if you are going to be riding below about 50 or so, just bite the bullet and get a heated jacket and gloves. You can thank me later.

agree'd for really cold weather I have a pair of black leather snowmobile gloves from the 1970's that go all the way to your elbow's and are by far the warmest I have ever owned!! not sure who made them but are VERY high quality!! couldn't imagine what a pair of equal quality would cost today!!
