Can anyone tell me if the lisence plate piece is structural?

Also can anyone post some links to where I can get the circle lights that can go in the ends once the chrome piece is removed

Used to be a lot of threads here about guys cutting those off. Should be able to find some in the tourpak removal threads.

It unbolts just not sure if it is structural to keeping the rear stiff

You talking about the license plate holder, or the entire bar that it's attached to?

Lot of them have been cut off and plugged. Good idea? I don't know,but I wouldn't cut mine.

I have taken mine offf several years ago.Replaced with klock works filler panels.Looks alot better.

a lot of people may disagree with me, but in my experience, it is structural. I had a 2007 road king custom, and I did exactly what you are thinking of doing. on one road trip, I went into 2 high speed wobbles. never did it before I removed it, and after that trip, I put it back on, and it never did it again.

looked cool, but was definitely a butt puckerer…..
