I agree with PapaTravis, ABS should be on all motorcyles. Think about the number of time that you locked up the rear brakes and the bike started to slide (not cool). That feature is enough to make me trade in my '06 FLHXI but then I'd probably have to live in the garage with the thing as the wife would lose her mind .
I had talked to all my friends and they saidif is $1000, go old school if is $500 buy it. Well it is $700 to $800 ish and my backside is well worth the price.
Thank you all for the input and advice.

Yo Mike, what's everybody else that posted about the ABS in this thread, chopped liver? We all said to get it, I don't get it? [sm=chairshot.gif]
I have posted this before, but I guess ya'll have not seen it. Go to www.americanrider.com . Where it says click here for this weeks inside powersport, there is an orange box below it, click the down arrow, and select week of July 9, then hit play. At the begining of the video it shows the ABS working on a '08 Ultra. The later half of the video deals with the CVO models. Worth checking out, IMO. ABS should be on all motorcycles. Sure wish I had it on my '05 rk custom.[:@]
With the little front brake issue I'm having right now...ABS sure sounds good... Its almost enough to get me to spring for an '08
I saw on the HD website video that the wheels have "encoded wheel bearings" which lets the ABS know whats goin on.. Does this mean that aftermarket wheels are not an option if you have ABS??? Just wonderin...
