The servicing of the front forks is basically gone with Prog. monotubes installed.

That's not entirely true! Your forks still slide up and down and need lubrication, so will require oil changes at the usual intervals, plus seals and bushings at intervals. You do avoid getting involved in 'which oil is best' for ride quality, as that is now down to your cartridges!

The monotubes installed in my Road Glide are a gas charged shock at the top end with a progressive wound spring and is attached to the lower leg in the traditional method. there is 5 ozs./147.865 Milliliters of oil, primarily for corrosion control within the fork. there is no traditional oil bath shock system in the fork leg that HD has had for along time.. A very simple design.

Can’t wait to get it dialed in... It will be nice to have the bike set up as it should have been from the factory.

Forks need work on mine this winter. I am leaning axeo after reading so many reviews on the progressives not being the be all end all solution. Lots of good stuff on them but enough no so good reviews to make me think twice.

Been meaning to ask. After the summer with your RT pipe do you love it as much as I do mine?
