Just put in monotubes in my 07 Road King Custom. Only have about 100 miles on them but it is a big improvement over stock. For rear shocks I have progressive 444.
Look forward to reading about your experience next season, once all is done!
Ill take care of this in January and report back right away... If the rain holds up enough I should have some hours on it by the first weekend in January.
I have the Progressive Monotubes and and 422 RAP rear shocks in both my Softtails. Wold of improvement over the stock suspension. The first thing I changed on my FLHT was putting Legend AXEO guts in the front. Suspension upgrades are such a huge improvement.
You guys have me salivating... my 2009 Ultra Classic is in the shop right now having it's 30k service done, 13" Arlen Ness modular bars, and upgrades to the suspension (front & rear). I chose the Legends AXEO and REVO-A for my setup. I can't wait to get it back... hopefully later this week!
Here in NW Georgia we will have good 50+ degree days here and there all winter... I should be able to get out to ride a few days each month.
