Here's my current setup:
2007 Road King Custom
V&H duals with Rush 2" slip-ons
SERT
K&N
Dyno tune was done in May 07
Runs great but not the sound I'm looking for.
I want to switch to Thunderheader Slip-ons. Can I just switch them out? Since I already have the V&H duals I'm assuming there is no reason to switch to the complete Thunderheader true duals?
Also, any reason to consider the 2 into 1 with falsee over my current setup?
2-1 should give you a little better low end pull. The falsee is dead weight in my opinion. If you have to have two pipes on your bagger, I would just go with the slip ons. On a stock motor it probably won't make much difference.
I don't know what your dyno numbers are now. I have V&H duals with TH mufflers and you can see the numbers in the sig. Don't have the need for any more power, just wanted the sound. You will probably have to tweek the map a little.
