Thinking of getting a T&T Fab gps mount for my 2012 ultra anyone use this ? any pro or cons ?
I have the T&T Fab GPS mount with bags. The GPS mount part is great. It puts the gps right in easy eye sight and looks better than mounts hanging off the handle bars in my opinion. The bags they use if you're going for that option are extremely flimsy.

I have one and thought it would be great to have the GPS centred and easy to see. Problem was, it vibrates a lot making the GPS hard to read. I tried a few different things but couldn't get it stable/solid. Seems to me the gauge of metal may be a little "light". Once you hang the GPS unit on it, the weight of it causes it to vibrate. Anything I'm missing?
For the record, I've been using a handlebar mount for a few years now and it's rock solid.

My GPS vibrates like crazy when I'm idling, but smooths out as soon as I'm under way. I have also added a CVO dash pad on my Ultra so that may be giving a little more support to the bracket.
I have had one on my 2015 FLHTK since they released the redesign for the Rushmore “mail slot”. I also have the H-D triple bags on the fairing. The center bag presses against the mount and adds some “stiffness” but it still vibrates at idle.
i found the company difficult to get responses from but the product has been high quality.
i wish the Boom used a Garmin engine and provided map updates like Garmin does. I recently saw a Jeep with a built in nav system from Garmin. So maybe there is hole.
More than likely the head units will strip out most functions but the sound amplification and add Apple Car Play (2919+ Boom already does) and Android Auto. Then users will provide their own favorite apps.
On my 05 Ultra. I jammed a piece of rubber between the bracket and the top of the faring which reduced the vibration at idle but not completely gone. As posted above, it does smooth out as you ride. Love having it directly in front of me.
