Depends on the bike.....

The 2010 ultra Limited has just the basic....rain suit and phone charger.

The 1998 Ultra.....tool kit and a few small spare parts that are difficult to find. Plus a few spare fasteners.

Service manual in PDF on my phone for both bikes.

USB cord for phone charger, lithium jump pack, various sockets & tools, clear, yellow & dark riding glasses, light jacket or hoodie, air compressor & patch kit, baling wire, flash light, foam ear plugs, gloves, baseball cap & first aide kit.

With all that, I still don't realize why they booted me from cub scouts.......I mean everyone knew the trail to the girl scout camp.

Default Bags

Gloves, map book, first aid kit with bee sting kit, note pad, pen, owners manual, insurance card, bandana's, flashlight, tool kit, air pump which plugs into battery lead, plug kit, jumper cables, spare roll of toilet paper, hey you never know, sunglasses, spare contact info just in case, helmet blavaka for cold weather, cordora over pants, maybe a spare jacket, tire pressure gage, duct tape, bungee cords and straps. I use Tupper Ware plastic containers with pop on tops to itemize things, they take up less room and you don't have to search for buried items in the trunk or bags. Organized and easy.

I keep clear and tinted glasses, chap stick, Harley tool bag, toll tag, a rag or 2,tire gauge. If I installed something recently I take whatever little hand tools I used to install said item incase I didn't do something right. I only keep the necessities and bring whatever else I need for the current ride.
