I'm mystified why anyone would install trike trees on a solo? Do they change the steering geometry?

Thank you very much for the info and the time. It really confuses me and it is if I put my wife on the back with me and it ridessmooth as silk no wabble any speed any time which is really believes me to the rear is my problem. No one was never checked the shocks and I switched out start to legends

When solo you are obviously not heavy enough! Joking aside, you may be riding a little more sedately and smoothly while carrying Mrs G, which we should all do for the one we love, plus her (modest) weight adds that little extra something to smooth the ride out. Give her a hug!

Your attention is invited to Post #5 and the links provided. Your confusion (about having your wife on the back) will be alleviated once you understand Rake & Trail.

@1glider , as you've gone through these various steering trees (stock, trike, Tricky Air, stock), has the wobbling changed with each, or did it stay the same?

I'd still like to know why he has changed the darned things! The vast majority of Harleys ever built have gone through life with the trees they left the factory with….

Jack up front wheel and with a mechanic's stethoscope listen while turning the wheel. A scraping or grinding sound indicates bad wheel bearing.

Google this...glide pro stabilizer for Harley touring bikes. It’s kind of expensive and somewhat of a pain to install but both the rear and front replaced with fix ALL of your wobble issues. Guaranteed as it’s coming from the rear swing arm 95% of the time.
