I recently replaced my factor turn signal bar with a Kuryakyn signal bar. Wires are the same. Used the same connector into the bottom break light. The break light stays on when I turn on the ignition. The light bar turn signals work fine.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

The other possibility would be a COINCIDENTAL malfunction of either brake light switch Did you also happen to change hand grips recently? Damage to the front brake light switch is very common during hand grip changes.
That happened to me upon changing my hand grips. Something in the handle assembly didn't get aligned properly but cleared up when I loosened and moved the loose assembly about till the lights went off and tightened everything back up. switch failure is the only other thing I could think of myself. It could happen.
