Tour-Pak

Hi,
I've imported a Electra Glide FLHTP (Police) 2011 from US. All police gizmos was stripped and now I'd like to modify it close to a police model. What I need now is two things.
A white undrilled new Tour-Pak 54177-10 and a new siren, Whelen 91157-88A (without amplifier). Only the siren, that is to be mounted on the crash bar.
Now, here is the thing: I don't want to order these items via internet. Above the purchase price I've to add Shipping and handling/custom tax/government tax. To the purchase cost I've therefore to add around 65% since the US is not a part of EU. But, within a month or two I'll be in the US for a business trip for several weeks. I'll be in different locations. If I buy those thing mentioned above it goes home with me as luggage, free of charge. My question is therefore: Does anyone know where I could find the item I want? What I'm looking for is a shop where I could walk in, look at the items, buy the items and walk out with them. It would be great if someone had an address where to go. I don't care very much about the location. If it's far away from where I am I'll fix it, one way or another.

Those are Harley part numbers.... you can't get them from a Harley dealer in your area? The tour-pak is about $1K and the siren is $314.56 from online dealers, so they will be a little more expensive at a walk-in dealer....

You could call a Harley Dealer that is in one of the areas you plan to visit, see if they can order it for you and hold it until you come by to pick it up..... Obviously you'll probably have to pay up front.

If you just want to see the siren before purchase, go to any police equipment store..... they sell uniforms and gear to police officers. Some of the bigger ones also have gear like radios/sirens/controllers...The bigger the city, the more store choices you will have, and the better the chance you'll find one that carries the radio gear too. It'll be a crap shoot to find one that has the exact siren you're looking for on the shelf... you could do an internet search for "Whelen" dealers in the areas you plan to visit...

Given the choice, I'd stick with the Harley part from a dealer, you'll know it should fit without modification, and it should be easier to find with your small window of time here in the US.

Good luck...

Use the H-D dealer locator to find the shop CLOSEST to your business appointment
Call them, order and pay for the parts.
They`ll be on the counter when you arrive

OR
Order online and have them shipped to the office of your U.S. business contact. ( probably cheaper)

Just a suggestion.
