...look at comparable bikes on cycletrader, e-bay and craigslist., that will give you a idea of about a realistic price..lot's of stuff for sale. I think harley sold about 300,000 03's so there are plenty out there. This sounds like a nice bike..but I'm always a little leary of a bike with performance mods and mileage..a lot of bikes with performance mods get run hardafter upgrades especially just before sale. My quess wouldbeask $17500..hopefully you will get $16500 or so. Look for someone upgrading, not buying first harley.

Yea, that's what he will have to do. I am trying to convince him to put it into the classified section here on the Forum but he doesn't have a bottom dollar yet.
Oh well, we'll see.
Thanks for all the feedback and opinions that everyone provided. It was very interesting to see all the different views.
If I were selling this, I would pick a bottom figure (say $17,500) and use that as a reserve price on Flea-Bay. If it doesn't sell, he can re-list it for no charge and hopefully have gotten more feedback as to value and lower the reserve or keep the bike knowing that he can't get what he wants out of it.
Just wanted to let you know that it sold for $17,000.00.
Somebody in Los Angeles got a good deal on a good bike IMHO!
Thanks for the opinions everybody!
