The 04 is under the right cover so I think yours probably is too. EFI fuse black in fig 8-5.
here’s a picture of the right side fuses. I replaced both fuses,The other picture is the 3 wires at the bottom of the counsel the 2 wire set runs to the left side the single wire runs to the right side. The single wire Y/G has power when I turn key on, after 2 seconds it loses power and then when I crank engine over it gets power again
Looking at the schematic I would have expected to see 2 15A fuses, you have a 5 & 15? Can you post the colors of the wires on the fuse block?
The second picture the Yellow/Green wire is it the one coming from the system relay to the fuel pump fuse, fuel injectors and ignition coil? Did you find the relay? The white collar the wire goes into isn't an in-line fuse is it?

I agree very confusing. Electrical systems are definitely not my strong suit. So I believe the 5 and 15 amp fuses are correct because in my shop book it shows a picture with a 5 and 15 amp fuse.
the single y/g wire does not have a inline fuse, the white thing is just a connector.
no I cant find a relay.
Im thinking I should pull the fuel pump out??
heres a picture of the back of the fuse box

Well I pulled the pump and ran jumper wires from my battery to ground and power to the connector where the Y/G wire connects, and the pump will not turn on. I would say pump is no good, would you agree? Also check out the corrosion on the sleeve.
If you put 12V to the motor with a good ground to the battery and it doesn't run i think you found the problem. My schematic it would be the Orange/gray for 12V and Black for grd.
It was the fuel pump. I just picked up a new pump and I plugged it into the wires, turned on the key and it pumped. Thanks for all the help. Especially the information about the power only lasting for 2 seconds and then re energising when cranking the engine. That was great information.
I've been following this thread and I'm glad you were able to get it worked out and found your issue . This is a great example of how a thread like this can help others with the same issue . Posting pics and explaining the symptoms make it easier for others to help , and posting the outcome / fix makes it a perfect ending ... This is one I will definitely book mark for future reference ... Cheers
