I would like if they made the wrap around ones for the 19 models.

Drop your bike once, then ask yourself IF they are worth it.

Are you talking about Saddlebag Guard Rails or Rear Crash Bars? Some of the replies here are getting the two mixed up.

You might think about getting BOTH of them. And I would go with Harley parts. No aftermarket on these.

I see your bike, stock, has no protection at all for the saddlebags.

As a rider who has never fallen over or dropped his bike, I see no purpose in them.

No, seriously, I do fall over, all of my bikes have been dropped a time or two. So yea, I do think they're a darn good thing to have. OEM Harley is not expensive, and they are quite strong. This is one of those things I don't see any real gain with going aftermarket.

I ordered a new 2013 RGC as soon as the 2013 models were available. My first bagger and I wanted the saddlebag crash or whatever you want to call them bars. Dealer was supposed to install them before I took delivery of the bike along with some other things. Anyway, bike came in and of course I was anxious to go get it. But...., the bag guards weren't on the bike. Dealer said the ones they got in were "blemished" so they ordered another set and I could bring the bike back in 10 days or so and they would put them on. I really suspect the dealer just forgot to order them. Anyway, the salesman told me that even without the bag guards if I dropped the bike on a flat, level surface the bags wouldn't touch the ground. Don't ask me how I know but the salesman was right--on a flat, level surface like my garage floor the bags don't touch the ground when you have a tip over.
