Arlen Ness Big Sucker Install...Difficult?
I ordered an Ness Big Sucker kit, V&H Ovals, and a Fuel Pak today for my 07 EGC. Should be here in a week, and I'm putting it all on myself after1000mileservice is done next week. The Ovals and Pak seem straightforward, but how's the install on the Big Sucker?

I just installed an AN BS Stage II kit this weekend. The instructions are pretty straightforward although they don't include any graphics. I think you'll be fine..if you run into a problem feel free to PM me.

Very simple, straight forward, just bolts right on. I had some pics i posted of a recent install. I find them and put them up for ya. Im having a harder time trying to push some rocker box bolt covers on than i had with the big sucker.

No pics as mentioned but follow the written directions to a T. It will tell you to use a small dab of grease to hold the O-rings in place and loosely start the bolts, don't tighten anything down before starting them all. You'll also want to make sure the backing plate is flush against the throttle body before tightening any bolts with a TORQUE WRENCHso you don't crack the backing plate.

Cool...I'm somewhat mechanically inclined but I'm afraid to mess something up on my "new woman" . I have aHD mechanic buddy who I'll probably have assist me, just in case...

10 - 20 min install.... Just make sure you get the 4 o-rings in right - Lil dab of grease will hold them in-place & proper torque....

EASY! did mine in about 15 mins and real simple. will be the easiest part of your mod by far.

very simple. Mine came without an outside cover don't know if that is standard but bought one on ebay it is just a flat piece of polished aluminun but it looks great.
