From within the program for one. Use the drop down from either Configure or Tools(can't remember as I'm at work) and see Smartlink IV Firmare Update and let the program log onto the Zipper's Server to retrieve the update........................if it shows something like Thundermax.......06-19-12(again, something like this)........that's the latest one and you are probably already running it.
Just glad I could help. There is a new firmware rumored to correct decel popping that is suspected to be released "soon", but I don't know how soon that is. If you have issues with the aforementioned, check back daily on the Zippers server.
It came back "no updates available for download" Guess I'm good to go. The reason I ask is I'm running Map 384 and there is an updraded map for my configuration, map 393 (richened AFR targets 14.4:1 to 13.8:1 between 1024-20something) Bike has 900 miles on it,. other then a little decel pop, bike runs great. Would it be benifitail to upgrade? thx, Putt

It's up to you. Take into account how it runs now, present fuel consumption, the good, bad, and ugly then decide. It's not that much to reload a new map, but there is a correct way to do it.
If you choose to reload the newer map, follow THESE INSTRUCTIONS to the letter and all should be fine.
