Strange Spark Plug issue?

Default Strange Spark Plug issue?

Tonight, I changed-out my plugs. They looked ok, not burnt at all. But, the gap was close to .030, when my S&S 124" calls for .038-.042. But, the bike has been running fine, so not too worried there. But, here is where the strange part comes-in. The front plug was fine, but when I went to remove the rear plug boot, the terminal nut came off inside the boot? After I removed the plug, I just screwed in back inside the boot, to get the nut out. Now, it takes almost 5 Full turns, to remove a terminal nut so, how did this happen? Yes, my 124" does a nice 'wobble' at idle, but can the nut really come loose, whileit's in theboot? If so, can using a little blue thread-lock on the terminal nut, be ok or will that cause any electrical issues? I just think, if I was on the bike and the nut came completely off while riding, she would start running Really bad! Never seen this problem before?
BTW, the plugs were NGK's.

Mine used to come loose on my TC 88". Hold the plug in a box wrench and take a pair of pliers and tighten the nut on top up. Mine haven't worked loose since doing this. We used to do that to the Mini sprint engine plugs when I used wrench on them.

I've been running Splitfires and have hadthe same problem with the nut loosening up. The box wrench-and-pliers trick works.
