Question Clear Map Holder

I'm looking for a Map Holder for my Electra Glide. I would really like a clear map pouch that is a minimum of 8 inches across.
I have looked at some of the tank bags, but so far, can't find any with those width dimensions. Wondering if just a clear plastic pouch/sleeve might work.
I will use this for printed directions and need the 'font' large enough to read (no comment).
Thanks for any help.

Something like this might work. Clips between your bars.

"Combat Acetate" is what we used years ago in the Army to cover and protect topo maps. I love maps.Ive got a roll of that acetate left over and before gps units became available I would take apart last years truckers road atlas and make up maps for cities that I would repeatedly pass through. These work great on a bike because you can use a grease pencil for notations. Check out the big box office supply stores for laminateing material. I prefer maps over a gps which I only use for ETA. So I can get that on my phone. Love maps!

A ziplock freezer bag and a couple magnets works.

A printed map is the only way to go! but GPS some how shows traffic slow downs which is nice, especially on four wheels.

I found a tank back that is about 10 x 14" with magnetic hold down flaps, a clear top portion and a small storage under the map case. I place a large micro fiber towel under the bag and the magnets. This works well for my trips to hold map and directions. I found this at a Honda dealer about 10 years ago. An online search should give you some options. This bag works well for me, I only use it for trips, and the storage is typically used for additional maps, additional instructions or directions, and a pen. I keep this fairly light.

Joann Fabrics or Michaels, grab a piece of black boat vinyl and a piece of the clear plastic material used in tent windows, etc and sew it up... voila!

Walkers and hikers use water-proof map holders, so may be worth checking outdoor stores? That at least gives you a starter with a robust map holder for documents etc. Just a thought!
