Should be posted in the oil forum. They do, and I've run many of my bikes that way, no issues.
do a clutch adjustment. if you used specific primary oil, you shouldn't have a slipping problem. if the dealer used formula +, it is about the same viscosity as a 50wt motor oil.
if you do an adjustment, and still have a slipping problem, i would drain the s&s and try either formula +, or shell rotella t 15w-40. it is jaso rated for wet clutch use. but logically thinking, if your clutch was working fine before, and now it isn't, then either your clutch is out of adjustment, or the oil is not compatible.

thanx i will have to look at it again and if not i will switch to formula+
Wow, an 80W140 weight gear oil in the primary? I saw that on the bottle and I'm kind of surprised. In cold climates that would be as thick as molasses in the clutch plates.
Make sure you haven’t overfilled the primary. Just touching the bottom of the clutch basket., IMHO, Formula+ is best for the primary. Synthetic screwed up my clutch. YMMV

Gear oils are numbered differently from motor oils. 20w50 motor oil is roughly the same viscosity.
