Is there a better than stock head light that I could just swap out on my 01 RK without a problem with my electronics?

I put the popular SunPie LED in my 2002. I didn't buy the adapter ring, but I did have to notch the bucket part with a cutoff wheel to get get clearance.

Grab a newer style headlight and throw some good quality halogen or LED lamps in it, search the forum for recommedations on lamps, almost as much fun as a shock or oil discussion...

Thats funny. The last shock discussion I was in a few months ago got me spending 600+ for some Progressive’s,
but I'm glad I did.

I went with P4 110/100s, before the LED craze took off. Plug and play is nice, no thought. But I do wonder if something better. Also went with bigger spots.

An 01 doesn’t have twitchy computers, so you’re fine with pretty much ch any headlight that physically fits.

Cleaning the inside of your lamps lens can do a lot to increase effectiveness. So too can replacing the bulb.

Just don’t plan on getting them in for awhile. Guy’s bike I’m working on wanted the Sunpie set that includes the headlamp, passing lights and mounting ring. Ordered 4/6 with Amazon Prime and they won’t even ship until the 28th because of this damn COVID ****.

I cleaned the lens and replaced the bulb last year. I just want a replacement bulb (if available) that I can pop mine out and the new one in without taxing my charging system. I don’t need something super bright, just an upgrade from the OEM headlight and possibly my passing lamps.
