Default Exhaust pressure not equal?

Ok so I have a 2015 Road King. I recently had to replace my cross over pipe gasket due to a leak. After I replaced the gasket I've noticed that the left side muffler isn't pushing as much exhaust as the right side. Like when I put my hand in front of the muffler the right side has much more pressure than the left. Is this normal because of the cross over pipe or is there some other issue?
Thanks for any help.

Unless you're running true dual exhaust the right side will always have more. There's a straighter shot at the right muffler than the left.

Two things. Is this something you actually checked prior? My brother has a 2018 RG. His does the same thing with the factory exhaust. The crossover pipe to the left muffler is much smaller than the main pipe going back to the right side muffler. If yours is like that, it's probably the cause. Maybe but unlikely the new gasket is protruding inside the crossover and restricting flow.

Yep.

That's how it works.

I'm the first to admit true dual exhaust sounds better.....I have two riding buddies that run them on their Street Glides....but the loss in low end keeps me from going in that direction.

I've owned my 1990 Glide from new and it also had unequal 'puffs' each side. The older bikes had identical diameter pipes throughout as well as identical mufflers. More recent bikes have similar looking mufflers, which actually have different internals, presumably to make the most out of the difference each side. Things are more scientific these days!

I used a set of true duals for a while then swapped to a SuperTrapp Supermeg, with very worthwhile improvements. Low/mid range torque is much better, but the greatest improvement is how smooth running the engine is. The changeover is worth doing for that alone!
