Probably the number 1 thing I wish I knew when I got my 2002 Road King was that if you come to a stop with the front brake and the front wheel turned, it's going down due to weight transfer. So when coming to a stop, use the rear brake or have the the front wheel straight. Maybe fixed for 2020 or earlier, maybe not, I don't know. Enjoy and welcome to the forum.

Less dive in the forks or a slower dive in the forks would be a good start. Maybe not physics, but some Engineering and Testing to validate would be a start. I've had 5 other bikes and none of them ever did that crap, but 80% were foreign made and half the weight or less.

This is NO FUN what so ever, read and LEARN the security section of the owner's manual, set a PIN and learn how to use it. Otherwise you will be sending in a request for help getting your bike started when you are stuck in the middle of nowhere (if you are lucky enough to have phone signal there. (Provided the bike has a factory security system.)

Ya know, I looked at mine till I got a headache, but I do still need to change the pin from previous owner, and set a new one. Tomorrow, its on my list, right after I finish my Homelink door opener install. I have a power gate and two door openers to power, so I needed all three easily accessible on the handlebars.

And how to put it into trailer mode so the battery doesn't die when you haul the thing on a trailer.

Slow speed, turn front wheel apply front brake= asking for trouble, on any motorcycle.

Write the PIN on a card, keep in your wallet.

If you change the PIN, write it down before you change it, that way you won`t forget it right after you enter it, (like forgetting a persons name, right after you meet them for the first time ).
