Ummm... Maybe because this is a MC forum and sometimes folks talk about top speed do a search.

I hope you feel better after making a smart a$$ remark.

Did your tuner change the max speed limit? What’s it set to?

I am not sure where Brentwood is , but the high desert is great for high speed test runs.

I'll tell you the same thing I say about myself: if I'm gonna crash or get busted @ 120MPH+ make sure it's on video. People are going to want to see that.

All my 4 bikes will do 120+ and are rock stable at that speed but everytime i get around 115 i start to thinking how old bones don't heal well and how my heirs would sell my bikes to buy drugs and alcohol and then i back off. I have one non-Harley(Deutsche Motorrad) that would do about 165 but not with me on it.

I do feel better, and it was a sincere question. Remind me again who is making the smart a$$ remark?

First off my speedo is has been calibrated with my PV so speed is accurate.

I’ve had my RK up to 115mph. It’s a stage one with 2:1 exhaust and 48H cams. It had more left on a 5th gear pull but just felt a little loose at that speed so I shut her down. The other day after upgrading the front to Monotubes and adding a front True Trak to go with the rear I ran it up to 110mph and it was steady as a rock.

I think with my bike feeling nice and tight and with TT Front and Rear as well as Progressive suspension I’m going to see if my 96er can pull a true 120mph. It’s doing awesome in fast sweepers and is straight as an arrow at 100mph.

I feel like the bike is matched pretty good with suspension and motor right now. 120 on stock suspension would have been way to shaky for my taste.

Okay safety police let me have it...
I'm not the safety police, I am the stage police.

If you have a stage 1 with cams, you have a stage 2.

Have a nice day and ride safely now sir.

I'm actually surprised that no one has yet lit you up for not wearing a mask while attempting to break your own land speed record. Let me ask you if you do get it up to 120 MPH, who's to say you aren't going to want to hit 125 and then 130? Where will this madness finally end? Will you want a stage 3 and then a stage 4? If your friends drive their motorcycles over the edge of a cliff are you going to follow? Too many questions and not enough answers....

I wouldn't do it. Think about this: Imagine all the moving parts in your engine, tranny, driveline, etc. NOW...imagine how fast those moving parts are reciprocating to propel you to 120 em pee aitch. If just one of those parts fail, let's say whoever built the motor had a hot date that night with the local sperm urinal & couldn't wait to finish his shift, so he installed some woodruff key or something a little off kilter because he was in a rush to go home, manscape & bathe in Aramis, & under normal speeds it doesn't matter, but at 120 that little part, or any of the hundreds of parts in that bike fails at that speed, locks up the rear wheel & you go down..if you live through it, you might be paralyzed from the neck down pissing into a little bag hanging off your wheelchair, now your bike is totalled but it doesn't matter 'cause you are a total cripple, you can't satisfy your woman 'cause you ain't able to get a decent ramrod 'cause you are paralyzed, and your insurance won't pay for boner pills, and even if you could you'ld hafta be swung from like a perpetual motion Hoya lift just to achieve a reasonably good pelvic thrust, and you'ld hafta pay a nurse a fortune to come in & wipe your rosebud every time you budge the fudge, or change your colostomy bag that they installed at the same hospital that was overloaded with COVID cases & you're in a bed next to one who has a chronic cough & is allergic to masks & spews COVIDIA all over you, but at that point you don't care because you'ld rather be dead than to have to use a well-lubed chicken bone to achieve a decent erection...all because you wanted to know if your bike would do 120. I don't think it's worth the risk. Stay safe.
