2020 Street Glide Special. Noted at the 1k service that I feel some decel vibration. Main thing I notice is when I am coasting to a stop and downshift, off the throttle I get a noticeable vibration. It is not related to the brakes like a warped rotor. The vibration will go away completely if the clutch is pulled in. Going down the road at steady throttle and accelerating its the smoothest bike I've ever owned. I am coming from an M8 softail, my last bike did not have this vibration. Dealer says "they all do that". Anyone else experienced something like this on m8 tour bikes? Maybe I'm just being picky, I'm not usually one to complain about things but I've never felt this kinda vibration in any bike I've owned, all though this is my first tour frame bike. Maybe has something to do with it being a rubber mounted engine with only 1 counterbalance vs the softails that are rigid and have 2 counterbalances?

HOLY HELL!!! I thought it was just me, I just traded in my 18 FatBob, and bought a 20 RGS, and I have the same exact thing, massive vibration on decel that smooths out as soon as I pull in the clutch, get on the gas, or stop. I asked service, they rode it, came back, "all is normal". I have now ridden it about 350 miles, and it is far less noticeable, almost like something needed to break in for a few hundred miles. I'll report back after this weekend and let you know if it's still doing it.

I wouldn't say that mine is massive, but its certainly noticeable, enough that I find myself pulling in the clutch and coasting to a stop much sooner than I would've on my softail. It hasn't really gotten much worse or better that I can tell, I have 1100 miles on it. When I first noticed it, I thought it would be something that would smooth out, but so far, no luck on that. Let me know what happens with your bike though.

Massive may have been a bit of a fetch, but I can feel it in the floorboards, seat, and handlebars. However, when I put the KST's on, that seemed to help dampen it, which is why I was thinking it might be smoothing out a little bit.
I believe the M8 Touring bikes have a “slip assist” clutch; maybe this is what you’re feeling. If you feel it more at mid RPM’s than lower RPM’s; then probably the slip assist clutch.
