Thinking of going with color matched inner fairing on 08 ultra. Wondering if anyone on here has used
'Fairing X Change' located in Fla. ? Cost $500.
and is that my best option if I dont want to do the removal myself, and search for a paint shop that i can trust to do a good job ? Thanks
Many folks here and elsewhere have used the fairing exchange. Unfortunately, due to COVID there aren’t any rallies that they’ll be at anytime soon. However, they used to go to rallies and you could grab one there and have it put on. I have heard nothing but good and satisfaction with them.
a lot of people have used the fairing exchange. i've even read where folks have made arrangements to meet paul somewhere on the road and have the exchange done. he spends a lot of time at rallies, and his booth is usually pretty booked.
Ok, thanks. Still not sure at this time what or when i will do it. May wait and make it my winter project.
I considered going this route and ended up doing the inner and front fender as a winter project, found a local painter who did bikes and went with something different on the inner than the solid color

Nice. And thinking this route is alot cheaper, although i know paint and supplies can be pricey
I had mine done locally for $300 when I had the 08 105th anny ultra. Had it two toned with pin stripe to match the rest of the bike. Came out perfect. Guy also did my lower fairing top caps as well.
