I say pick the color/colors you like and go for it. I too have painted every bike I've ever owned. This one just took longer (9 years) to get around to it. I went with Mazda colors. Even if you go with something wild, you can always repaint it back to stock...
its black now, just tired of black, wanting a color thats not as hard to keep looking good. And more visible.
IMO the lighter colors will be easier to keep looking good and stand out anywhere. The Big Blue Pearl is the same as the black, although it's a really nice color. My RK is close to the Ruby Red and I can pick it out easily at a bike rally.
JMO, I like Sedona Orange better than Amber Whisky, though what I'd actually use is Dodge Toxic Orange--very similar to the Sedona but any paint shop can mix it up.
