I recently installed a 12" LRS Stingray on my 2020 Limited. I owned a Klock Werks on a previous bike but I was looking for something a little less expensive that would still get the job done. I almost ordered a Freedom Shield but had some concerns about the minimal curve and airflow and he was recommending a taller shield than I wanted in order to achieve the ride I was looking for. After researching LRS and reading the reviews on their Stingray I decided to give them a shot.

Out of the packaging the shield looked good and is well made. I read the instructions which tell you to leave the plastic on the windshield and to do a dry fit to make sure all of the holes line up for mounting and that the height is suitable. If for some reason you decide you don't like the shield at this point you can still send it back for a refund. Everything up to this point was good so I removed the plastic protective film, installed the shield and went for a long ride. It was breezy today with a good head wind and the shield performed very well. The wind was being diverted over my head and there was no buffeting. The height of the shield is perfect for my 6' 1" build, but I think a 10 inch would also work.

Overall I couldn't be happier at this point. The price was very reasonable and it arrived a week after I ordered it. I think most shields now are about the same and you probably can't go wrong with any of them. The LRS isn't worse than the Klock Werks I had and I paid considerably less for it and I like it just as much so far... If I have issues with it cracking or failing at some point I'll report back. So far though I think the LRS is a really good bargain and hard to beat.
