well, here is an update on my pearl white tank,. took it to the dealer and asked them if they could see any pearl in the tank, they said NO pearl in that tank. the service manager ran the vin number to find out for sure if the tank was supposed to be pearl white, MOCO says it is so a new tank has been ordered. they were real nice about it and said they were sorry that it wasn't caught when the bike was put together. so now i just have to wait for about 8 weeks for the new tank.
Reckon it's good/bad news, eh? They screwed up - but owned up to it AND took steps ta correct it. Mebbe you kin git a free wash job outta the deal....<G>
yes i got to keep the old tank and keep riding it. they said they will call when the new tank comes in and for me to bring it over and they will swap it out.
