Thanks Vernal, that did come in handy when I first got your reply! Would have said thanks sooner but you know....life and all that!!! Also, I went out and finally picked me up a Haynes manual for it since I didn't feel like shelling out the outrageous cost of a dealer service manual, even though I do prefer those!! Anywho...my reading all checked out within spec but still have the draw. This past weekend I double-checked them to make sure my memory was correct and it was. So now I'm left wondering if it is my regulator and/or my stator. Fun times ahead!!!!

Yeah...it's actually a newer battery. Less than a year old, but it's an off brand.....had to get what my wallet could afford at the time!!! Plan on getting a new yuasa GYZ32HL come the end of the month tho.

Nope...you're absolutely right! I'm still replacing it with the Yuasa, but I'll get it tested if for no other reasons than to know it's good or bad and to have a spare...just in case.
