I don't have spec's for the adaptor bolt but I did install the oil cooler and you have to remove the original and install one that comes with the kit. The new one does have lock tight and I snugged it down pretty tight.
I looked in the service manual too, and while I was able to find the adapter bolt in the crankcase exploded view, I could find nowhere in the text where it mentioned installing it and I couldn't find a reference for it on the torque tables.
I then looked at the instruction sheet for installing my Jagg oil cooler, and it just said to "tighten the oil filter adapter" and listed no torque.
Like Bob said- I put Loctite on it and snugged it pretty tight.
I also sprayed out the threads before installing it so the Loctite would stick.
