You are correct, they are worth something. If they are worth something to you that is all that matters. Value is in the eye of the beholder. The motorcycle market is currently in a tail spin. The local dealer where I live has let go of more than a third of their staff. The sales guy I know says it real bad. A bike I traded in, in February is still on the sales floor. I got a great deal on a 2020 FLHTK! Good luck!

Thanks for all the info and advice. I'm taking it all to heart.

Thanks also for the info on the pump and the link to a great write up!

As always, you guys rock!

I'll keep you posted!

If the bike is that nice and has all the extras you would buy anyway i say buy it. The extra do mean something. Like you said those shocks are $900 and if it has after market wheels , that's big bucks. There are bike out there that are just over the top and very well taken care of.

Thank you sir! Previous owner was well-to-do & Canadian. Has a second winter home here in AZ. Had everything done at Arrowhead Harley & the custom paint job from another local painter. Cant recall the name right now. He was only selling because he had heart surgery & physically couldn't handle the bike any longer. Also had very poor pictures on craigslist. Glad I went to see it in person.

I have been amazed at some of the crappy CL pics guys post trying to sell bikes. Then again, maybe they are hoping no one will look, lol.

Funny you say that. Some of the prices I've seen makes me think they really don't want to sell the bike.

I have a rgs. Added lowers and tp. I want to take lowers off in hot weather. Previous bike was twin cooled limited. It helped. Not huge difference.

Nice bike! But technically, aren't the project Rushmore bikes 14 and newer? Or was 14-16 classified Rushmore and anything newer just classified as the new normal? Maybe I am wrong.

Perhaps? Cant find anything definitive online. On the forum here usually people are referring to 2014-2016 models as Project Rushmore. I dont think the M8 engines are part of that but I'm really not sure now that you mention it.

Rushmore features appeared in 2014, so from then on, every bike on the touring frame would be considered a Rushmore bike.
