Bike didn't start. Appeared as if it didn't recognize FOB. FOB battery probably dead so replaced it. Still no luck and had all the flashing lights. Followed the procedure for resetting and expected to see my original security code in the display.. It was nothing close to what has been my code for 10 years. I reset it to the original code and it fired right up. My question is why the code decided to change itself. My first suspicion was feckin criminals feckin with it assuming that the bike would be left in the Home Depot parking lot overnight. Ignition switch, and bars were locked. Maybe I'm paranoid. Ha! Just wondering if anybody else has experienced the same thing.

Someone can chime in, but not too sure you can reset the PIN if the bike does not recognize the fob. But nevertheless, glad you got the bike started. So does it recognize the fob now?
well, the 'fecking criminals' would have to have your key fob with them in order to change the code, so has your fob been missing lately?
skratch nothing is safe anymore. This companies product can go in and retrieve or change a PIN without a fob. When away from home you better start locking the fork. https://technoresearch.info/centurion-super-pro-plus/

I believe your right must have a working Fob to change a pin. Unless you have the unit above
Thank you Vernal. I'm not saying that anything sinister was happening. Might have been some internal electrical glitch. Who knows? I will never know because everything is fine now.
Not super familiar with HD’s theft system, but some OEMs that utilize BCMs log a history of changes to pins and added fobs and the procedure used, ie an end user following the instructions in the owner’s manual vs a shop’s tech using a scan tool.
You got it home from Home Depot so I doubt that was the issue, or is that where the issue happened and you were lucky to figure out how to get it started?
