It is an AWESOME upgrade, Worth every $$$ spent and hour worked to install it. It really updates the feel of the bike, makes an older bike feel and look much more modern. It was really one of the only things i felt my bike lacked compared to newer ones. Now it has all that and more. I ran a lightning cable back to my LH bag. so i just keep my phone in there now. Un-clutters the bars, the 7000 head unit does everything that your phone can do. GPS, Text, Phone calls, Music....everything and it charges your phone while you ride. plus can still use the handle bar controls. The kit from fathead is very nicely wired, it all just plugs in. As far as i am concerned there really are not any drawbacks to this kit!!
