Who's got one and what's your take on them? I'm ditching the stock seat on my '20 EGS and have narrowed it down to either the Le Pera Maverick daddy long legs or the Saddlemen Dominator solo w/p-pad. Would like to get some real world views before I pull the trigger.

You're going to get a million different opinions here about seats (add handlebars to the list too). It's way too subjective of a topic. Too many different body dimensions that equate to different body positions on the bike, not to mention people's preferences on firm seats vs soft, cushy seats. Bottom line is you're going to have to actually sit on one, and preferably ride a bike with the same seat to actually know if it's right for you. I know...it sucks, but that's the way it is.
I have a Mustang Solo Super Touring seat on my bagger, and I love it. It sits me further back, and higher up than stock. Since I have long legs, and a shorter torso, it's perfect for me position wise. It's also a big, wide, firm seat that I can ride on for hours and hours. You might think it's an ugly seat, and hate it. I don't know. What works great for me, may not work for you. Good luck.
I rode a Maverick DLL for 20k miles and LOVED it. Puts you back and down. I recently sold it for a Saddlemen Renegade solo. Made the switch for looks. Black to brown and two up to solo. I've only logged about 500 on the Renegade but I'm liking it so far. No super long trips planned so it'll be a good fit for me.
5'11 and 32" inseam and 34" arms. Stock was WAY to close to everything up front.
Gotta say that I'm very happy with my LePera Maverick DLL seat. When it arrived and I unboxed it, I thought, "This doesn't look very comfortable". But I've had numerous other brands of seats over the years, and this has been the best by far. But as Bronson said, seats are very subjective and your results may vary. For the record, I'm 6'5", 290, and I ride a Road Glide.
I have the Maverick DLL, got it last year. Its stiff but its still comfy if that makes any sense. I like the fact that it moves you back quite a ways over the stock seat. Never had a Saddleman but hear pretty much all good words about them. Good luck!
I just called La Pera to price a Maverick DLL for a new Street Glide in leather.
$340 for all leather in addition to price of the seat, $579, total $919 plus shipping.
$195 just for a leather seating surface, plus price of the seat, total $774 plus shipping.
Thanks guys, yes seats, bars, windshields etc are subjective but y'all gave me your thoughts based on your experience with your seat, that's exactly what I was after.
Thanks again
btw, I went with the Saddlemen based on a couple factors, I mostly ride solo and the 2 up just looked funky to me, Saddlemen has a try it & send it back if you don't like it deal, that alone is worth it for me
