I am looking at getting a new to me road king (not a special) to replace a 2009 road king. Are there any differences between the years of 2017 to 2020? Handlebars, etc, whatever...? Thanks.

I don't believe there are any differences besides color choices.
At least not on the standard RK. I believe there is an engine displacement difference on the Specials, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Specials are 114 now. Plus RDRS is an option as of 2020
- No heel shifter on '20
- Only get one security fob w/'20
- '20 will have latest oil pump and primary vent (these seem to be fixes for the known problems of sumping and trans fluid transfer, respectively)
- 18" rear wheel on '20 vs. 16" on '17
- ABS is standard on '20 vs. optional on '17
Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
