Question stupid new guy question

on my 20 EGS, if I want to run a sissy bar & a luggage rack at the same time, do I need 2 docking kits? I've got the 4 point kit from HD, and the sissy bar and I'm looking to add a luggage rack. Any help would be great
thanks

No buddy, the 4 pt docking kit is what you need to mount both on your electraglide standard. Go on the harley website and search for racks and you will see many choices.

LOL, I asked the same question a few days ago. The sissy bar and the luggage rack are separate. With the 4 point docking kit you can run either or both.

Yes you can run them both at the same time, or as Smokin' pipes says, either one or both.

The sissy bar mounts to the rear shock and front lug of the four point system, the luggage rack mounts to the front and rear lugs of the system.

I installed the docking hardware on my 2020 street glide special today and wanted to pass along this information. Those "slot cover inserts" that you remove before installing the docking plates used to be plastic parts that were held on by two screws that went into tapped holes in the frame. Not any more. Now the insert is a rubber plug. There are no screws, so the tapped holes in the frame are open, and if you take your saddlebags off to wash your bike like I do those holes get water in them and then they rust. I had to brush out and blow out the rust before assembling the hardware. If you have a 2020 bike and plan on installing docking hardware, do it right away or else put screws in the holes to keep the threads clean.
