my bro-in-law told me that he and a couple buddies went to check out the 08's at the local dealer. much to his surprise, he was met by a showroom of 06 and 07's. when he asked where the 08's were, he was told "Theyre in the basement". he asked to see them and they said NO!!!
That,s BS I know of 5 dealers in 2 states that have some on the floor already, not many, but they are there. Sounds like he if trying to git rid off the OLD stock. IMO Dan
Thats some horsechit!!!!I took an 08' anni streetglide around Henderson NV HD parking lot .Without any haggle.Iv'e spent a lot of coin in there, but for a dealer to not want you to see the bikes is pretty lame!Hell you know the employees are trying them all out!!!!
They are paing interest on the old inventory and want to move them first. It is a lucky dealer that runs out of 07's just in time for the 08's to arrive.
My dealer blew out the 07's the last two weeks has only new 08's with a couple of use bikes in stock. Brilliant marketing on their part.
Yep, I stopped at a store in Alabama yesterday that had a showroom full of '07's but not an '08 in sight. His comment: "We haven't gotten any yet" - looks like he wants to try to deplete the '07's before giving anyone a look....
I ran into the same thing at the dealer in Gastonia NC...he said they didnt have any but then changed when i said some others did. He said they werent putting any out till the 07 were gone i told him i wasnt interested in the 07 RG I wanted an 08 cause of the black engine...he didnt seem to care..more than likely he missed a sale maybe he didnt care about either.
