I'm very happy with my Corbin Dual tour , all day comfort , better support and you can plug in back rests to passenger and rider . I move my backrest to the front when I'm riding solo. It is WAY more comfortable than my last Corbin gunfighter

Another vote for the Corbin Dual Tourer. Love mine. Got it at Krooners for $675 shipped (heated version, talk to Tracie). List is $899.

Seats are such a touchy subject. What is comfortable to some is a brick to others. That is why I hated shopping for a seat and asking questions about the. Some people swear by Mustang. Some love Corbin. A few Lepera. And there are ones that actually like their stock seats. The newest trend I see is C&C seats or modding your stock seat with memory foam and/or gel. Soooo many damn decisions.

One thing I might suggest doing is searching through the different seat threads first and read what people have said about particular seats raising or lowering, moving forward or back, etc. Start with a search in touring for Mustang or another manufacturer. Then move on to Corbin and so on. Then you can start narrowing down your searches. You can do alot of cross-reference that way too because people will always chime in on their favorite seat and/or manufacturer no matter what the thread was about. The ones that sit lower are the ones you need to start asking about. Just remember too that your height may be the same as someone else that has longer or shorter legs. Also seat height doesn't necessarily mean everything. A thicker seat that is more narrow at the nose will give you as much if not more room to plant your feet than a thinner one with a wider nose.

Sorry my post didn't offer any advice on particular seats. But maybe it will lessen the frustration a little.

I just purshased the Sundowner for the streetglide and so far it's great
Got about 300 miles on it and just waiting for the time so that I can ride 300 to 400 in a day to see how it's really going to feel at the end of the day

Be careful road king seats will not fit. I sold my road king and kept my spare seats and none of them fit the street glide. That sucks because I had a corbin solo close saddle that I liked and had the stock 2 peice seat from the road king that was great for 2 up. I think the road king standard seat is way better than the street glides stock seat, even though the street glide seat looks better.

bigthump is correct! Road King seat will not (properly) fit the '07 Street Glide. I talked to sales at Corbin and she said that some Road King seat may fit, but may not adequately cover all the necessary areas when mounted. I just bought a Corbin for my girlfriend's '07 SG. She loves it! The new generation of Corbin is very comfortable!

I went down the solo route as the wife has her own bike. I bought this H-D one from ebay & it lowered the seat height but was pretty firm.

I then got hold of a corbin solo. Doesn't look as sleek but is much more comfortable.

i have the stock seat of coaurse and it is ok but not great.
then i purchased a comfort stitch , the wife loves this seat.
but i dislike it the most can't hardely ride 50 miles with out hurting

then i have a Sundowner two up seat and this is my most favorite
i think because it gives me some lower back support without installing
the back rest.
I will get a couple of seats to Allen at meancity cycles when i get a couple bucks to improve them
i have not tried any aftermarket seats
