I believe the left and right have similar baffling. The difference is 06and
newer right side touring mufflers contain a catalytic converter. If you are wondering why most exhaust comes out of the Right muffler, its 'cause the
factory left side factory pipe is a T off the rear cylinder any flows very little.
It is a very poor design and is not a true dual with a crossover as many think.
I sold mine on e-bay for $90 and replaced with V&H dresser duals.

I changed my stock to, but was looking in the end of the muffler and it looked like the baffle on the right was more open than the left

Just be sure to keep your old mufflers - when Tier 2 EPA regs start, OEM will be the rule. -->HERE'S<--- some info about Denver "jumping the gun".

Maybe I'm missing some pertinent bit of info since I'm on a dial-up connection and have opted for a simplified forum presentation. I say that because nobody seems to have answered your question. I'll answer it with "the left and right mufflers are completely different from each other internally on the '07s".

The right muffler has a series of chambers or at least a convoluted path into and out of whatever's inside. (To my knowledge the '07s do not have a catalyst system.)

The left one is basically one big hollow resonating chamber with a single tube at the rear end. The tube has a few holes in it. That's it.

Don't try to use the 2007 touring mufflers on a set of true dual head-pipes.

If you plan to just put aftermarket mufflers on and keep both your O2 sensors in service it would probably be a good idea to get a smaller baffle for the left side muffler than what's in the right. If you aren't going to use the sensors it doesn't matter.
