Curious what some others are using to mount their phones. I had a cheap plastic one that broke so I want to go ahead and get a good one that will last a while. There are so many its hard to know a good one from a bad. Looking for a perch mount style. What's the preference out there? TIA
I use a ram quick grip XL. A lot of people like the X grip and I know it works, but I just couldn't picture myself losing a 700$ phone on the highway if it failed. The quickgrip has arms that lock around the front and sides. There is no chance of it going anywhere. Costs about the same as the X grip too, maybe a few bucks more.

I got a Ram mount for my wife's bike that has worked very good, a bit more expensive than the knock off all plastic junk from riceville but what will it cost you if your cell phone shakes off at hwy speed? I saw that happen once ):
I have the CIRO phone holder that mounts to the front brake perch but they have numerous mount options. Works real well. Had the Harley version for a short time and the CIRO is much better.
