Default ThunderMax and Duals

I have an 07 Ultra and like everyone else, this baby gets HOT. I am cosidering a Stage I upgrade utilizing the Thundermax EFI with Auto Tune, Arlen Ness Big Sucker Stage I and the Vance and Hines Big Shot Duals.

My question is from what I read the ThunderMaX Autotune needs the autotune oxygen sensors installed. ThunderMax's site states that if your exhausr has sensor bungs in the exhaust pipe, you can simply screw in the ThunderMax sensosrs.

The Vancs and Hines site sayd that the ig Shot Duals includes mounts for factory O2 sensors.

Does this all mean that I can install the ThunderMax with AutoTune and the V&H Big shot duals and not have to weld in the sensors?

Thanks....

Some Vance and Hines head pipes have issues with the longer 02 sensors that the TMax uses. The angle of the bung on the rear header has to be "tweaked" or the 02 sensor will come in contact with the transmission cover. May want to do a little research.

I have heard the same thing. Some have hit the transmission cover.
V/H help will probably be worthless.
I have an 07Heritage and called to see if the true duals for softails will work with the longer o2 cells and no one had a clue.
Some guy said he would talk to the tuner shop and call back. But never did.

If I'm not mistaken, and I'm at work so I cannot check, but I "think" one of the TMax .pdf's install instructions even mention the aforementioned scenario being a possibility........but I'm old and can't remember.

I recently mounted the Tmax and07 V&H cross dressers on my 06 RKC. I had no problem with clearance. The bike has never run better,,,but that is the cross dressers.

Mine hit on my 07 due the the tranny. All you do is heat the pipe up and tweek from a 45 degree angle to about a 30 degree angle. Verify no leaks and you are set, about one inch of clearance at that angle. Hope that helps.

But with OEM head pipes the T-Max O2s will clear, correct?
