I am considering extending the warranty on my fltru. I am looking at maybe purchasing a discount esp warranty, but am looking to see if I can get any feedback good or bad before I pull the trigger.

That's the one I am going with once my factory 2 years is up. The owner is Jim Palmer and he is a member here. He will probably give you a discount if you mention the forum.

Curious about this as well... just went stage 2 on my bike and HD warranty is set to expire in a month. Seems like they dont mind having upgrades done. Anyone have any experience making a claim with mods done to their bike?
Good morning! I'd love to quote your Extended Service Plan options. We have (3) Extended Service Plans and a Tire & Wheel Protection Plan to choose from:
HUGE Differences between the coverage we offer and Discount ESP.
1. We partnered with actual Extended Service Plan Administrators that are LICENSED by each State to sell the plans.
2. Our administrators' obligations (Your Coverage) are insured. If the administrator is no longer in business your coverage continues.
3. Our Eagle Guardian Plan will COVER aftermarket / upgraded components. The other plans are stated coverage and are for stock components only.
4. $0 Deductible with Unlimited Mileage at a Better Price.
5. Fixed Pricing--no mark up to mark down sales.
6. We do offer an everyday discount for HD Forum Members, Military Veterans, and 1st Responders

I am considering his, as well as discountesp.com, which he used to represent as well. I know several friends who had used Jim in the past for both esp and insurance.
As a dealer employee, I prefer working with the Harley ESP. It's accepted at all HD dealers across the country and a pleasure to work with. I've worked with several third party ESPs and have had issues with either getting coverage (one wouldn't cover a factory GPS antenna on a FLHTK), or the claim process is just extremely frustrating and time consuming.
