I’d get something like the Sena BT headset. More pricey than hardwired options. But, hardwired is cumbersome. Although you need to charge the BT headsets.
The wife and I got the cardo PT bold after some research. People here who have had sena and them said the cardo is superior BT connections. Great distance and clarity. The JBL speakers sound great. We ride a lot and numerous long days. At around 8 hours of music and talk they run out but can be used while charging on the bike. A 1.5 meter USB cable hooks up perfectly to a power point up front.
I read something here that the !Boom won't play stereo into anything other than HD branded sena? Something to consider if that music source is important to you.
HD sells a half helmet with Sena built in. My cousin and his wife (hes actually my wife's cousin) had the half helmets. I was amazed at the clarity so much I asked if he had to yell into it, and he said no. I was wearing a FF helmet and felt like I was yelling.
I think he said his was $350 or so. Pricey, but they worked well. The speakers for the ears are built into the helmet as well.
Wife & I Use the Sena 30 dual pack had them for about three years now they work great !! and totally worth the money. Just takes a little but to figure out how to use all the functions.
